Back to School Drive

We are partnering with CW Human Services to provided much needed school supplies to area students. Donations can be dropped off at church by August 28th. Our church has been asked to collect the following:

​

· Pencil top erasers

· 1” binders (hardcover)

· 24-pack of crayons

Back to School Blessing​

​

We are excited to kick-off the new school year on Sunday, August 21. Here’s what we have planned:

​

Back to School Blessing –We will have a special time in our services to pray for all our students, teachers, and school personnel as they begin a new school year.

​

Move Up Sunday – All of our students will get to move up to their new grade! Be sure to check out the back of your bulletin for details on our Children and Youth Ministries.

​

3rd Grade Bible Sunday – Kids going into 3rd Grade will get a Bible during Rock City . If you haven’t done so already, please use your Connection Card to let us know your 3rd Grader’s name.

​

Ice Cream Social – There will be FREE ice cream to celebrate the new school year in-between services as well!

Kids Night Out ​

Children ages 3 (potty trained) to 5th grade are welcome to join us for a fun-filled night of games, crafts, and more in the MMC from 5:30-7:30pm. Drop-off starts are 5:15 and DINNER IS PROVIDED!!! Sign up now!  Our upcoming dates are:

Safe Sanctuaries​

​

Our next Safe Sanctuaries training will be Sunday, August 28 at 10am in the Chapel. Breakfast is included!! Safe Sanctuaries training is required every 3 years for all volunteers and staff working with children and youth. Please let Tiffany know if you’ll be attending.
