Habitat for Humanity
It’s mission: seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio brings people together to inspire hope, build homes, empower families, and develop communities. Groups can volunteer to help with builds, or to work in the ReStore.

YWCA Family Center
The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and critical services to stabilize homeless families in central Ohio. Volunteers read to children, counsel parents, share legal expertise, arrange outings, plan parties, enter data and build lockers. Whatever your gifts, you have a place at the Center. The Foundation Shelter
The program addresses the basic needs of our Community’s homeless. Help by serving meals, acting as an “Innkeeper”, providing supplies, and donating.

Sharing Hearts
A ministry of reaching out to those who are in nursing/assisted living facilities, and to those at home who are less active. You can partner to visit a certain person, or to visit all from our church family who live in a particular facility. You can also show care by sending cards. Good Works Ongoing LUMC Ministry: The vision of Good Works is to create a COMMUNITY OF HOPE with and for people who are struggling with poverty and homelessness in rural Appalachia. LUMC prepares and participates in one meal every few months. LUMC Contact: Anne Morrow – Website Link

Ongoing LUMC Ministry
The Foundation Dinners provides an opportunity to serve meals and contribute to the needs of many poverty-stricken families and individuals in Fairfield County.

Canal/Lithopolis Community Food Pantry
The Pantry’s serves those living in the Canal Winchester School District, Lithopolis, Carroll and underserved rural areas of Fairfield County. Donations of Food, Household supplies and financial support are needed. To help contact the Pantry at 614-834-3888.

Provides meals for older adults, in their homes. Help with preparation and delivery.

Mid Ohio Food Bank
Obtains and distributes food to more than 550 food pantries, soup kitchens,  shelters, after-school programs, and senior housing sites across central and eastern Ohio. Opportunities to pack, load, distribute food to those in need.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Fairfield County
Provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Become a mentor, tutor, or friend to a child in need.

The Bike Lady
Bike Lady, Inc. is nonprofit, all-volunteer charitable organization focused on providing NEW bikes, helmets and locks to children in the custody of Children Services with a history of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Donate your time or treasures.

Disaster/Crisis Relief
American Red Cross
Ways to help: Financial support, Give blood or host a blood drive, deliver emergency and first aid safety information, provide local disaster education or by teaching CPR and First Aid, work with members of the military, veterans and families in military and VA health care facilities, youth programs, hospital volunteerism.

Bloom Township Crisis Fund
The Crisis Fund provides emergency financial assistance to residents in Bloom Township, Fairfield County as well as any member of the following churches: Lithopolis United Methodist Church, Pope John XXIII Catholic Community, St. John Lutheran Church, Bloom Presbyterian Church, Bloom Baptist Church, Crossroads Church, and Lighthouse Christian Church.

Grace Haven
Focuses on women transitioning from jail to the community. Its purpose is to  bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to women through the Word of God and through action.
